our fundraising efforts are in high gear - and we need your help!

As a non-profit, we rely on community support . . . we're asking ALL of our patrons and supporters to consider a gift . . . every cent you contribute goes directly into keeping DTMC thriving.

Ticket sales cover only a portion of DTMC’s operating expenses; for the rest, we have our dedicated ‘GEMs’ to thank.

DTMC’s ‘GEMs’ is a group of people who understand that to make great choral music, you need more than great singers, sets and costumes. In addition, you must have a warm (or cool) comfy space, phone lines to take reservations, electricity to power the stage lights and so much more! In short, the fixed costs and overhead that need to be paid all year long.

Your contributions will sustain our musical tradition.  Checks, made out to Detroit Together Men’s Chorus, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, may be sent to our address below.  Or, save a stamp and donate online today See our Donations/Sales page

Your donations, automatically charged monthly to your credit or debit card, create a steady revenue stream that helps to stabilize DTMC's finances, reduce fundraising costs and keep the stage lights shining on great Choral music all year long.

About Us . . .

Detroit Together Men's Chorus

DTMC is a Detroit-based all-male chorus that was founded in 1982.  Joining together in song to promote a positive image of ourselves and our community, metro Detroit's premier gay and gay-supportive men's chorus serves the communities of Southeastern Michigan, Northern Ohio, and Windsor, Ontario.  DTMC is currently in its 28th season with nearly 35 voices and a strong cast of support members helping behind the scenes.

Having performed in major cities around the country, members of DTMC have come from as far away as Australia and as close as Windsor and Toledo.  The future of DTMC is indeed exciting.  As we venture forward we are forever mindful of our humble beginning and accept the challenges that lie ahead.  For as we break new ground and achieve new heights we do so in the spirit of LIVING THE JOY OF MAKING MUSIC TOGETHER!
