our fundraising efforts are in high gear - and we need your help!

As a non-profit, we rely on community support . . . we're asking ALL of our patrons and supporters to consider a gift . . . every cent you contribute goes directly into keeping DTMC thriving.

Ticket sales cover only a portion of DTMC’s operating expenses; for the rest, we have our dedicated ‘GEMs’ to thank.

DTMC’s ‘GEMs’ is a group of people who understand that to make great choral music, you need more than great singers, sets and costumes. In addition, you must have a warm (or cool) comfy space, phone lines to take reservations, electricity to power the stage lights and so much more! In short, the fixed costs and overhead that need to be paid all year long.

Your contributions will sustain our musical tradition.  Checks, made out to Detroit Together Men’s Chorus, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, may be sent to our address below.  Or, save a stamp and donate online today See our Donations/Sales page

Your donations, automatically charged monthly to your credit or debit card, create a steady revenue stream that helps to stabilize DTMC's finances, reduce fundraising costs and keep the stage lights shining on great Choral music all year long.

      Wednesday, October 20, 2010

More than 200 people gathered in the Ridler Field House Oct. 20 to hear gay rights activist Judy     Shepard deliver her impassioned message that American society must do more to ensure equal rights for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.

The event was sponsored by the Lawrence Tech Office of Student Engagement in conjunction with the student group, OUT! At LTU with Friends. The speech was the highlight of several campus activities during the group’s first Pride Week.
